What We Restore

The Precision Heart of Classic Ignition

The Bosch ignition distributor controls the firing sequence of your engine — distributing high-voltage current to each plug at exactly the right moment, while mechanically advancing timing in response to speed and load.

When it wears, the symptoms range from rough idle and misfire to power loss and difficulty starting cold. Most workshops fit an aftermarket unit. We restore your original — to factory specification, documented and certified.

Our core expertise is Bosch ignition distributors: the most widely fitted ignition system on European classic cars from the 1950s through the 1990s, and on many American V8 applications.

Worldwide Service

From the USA, UK or Australia — We've Done This Before.

Sending a precision part abroad sounds complicated. It isn't. Here's exactly how it works, and what you need to know.

✈️
"Can I really ship a part to Germany?"
Yes. We receive distributors from the USA, UK, Australia, Switzerland, and across Europe every week. Use any parcel carrier, declare it as "used car part for repair," insure for its value. We'll guide you through it with packing instructions after your ticket.
💬
"Is all communication in English?"
Yes. Our ticket system, quotes, and correspondence are all in English. The test certificate is issued in English. You will never need to navigate German bureaucracy.
💰
"Does it make financial sense with shipping costs?"
A quality aftermarket replacement distributor typically costs €400–900 and arrives uncalibrated to your specific engine's advance curve. A professionally restored original — calibrated to OEM specification and shipped with a documented bench test — is often comparable in price and demonstrably better in every measured parameter. Many customers ship from the USA, UK, and Australia precisely because this level of documented restoration is not available locally.
🔒
"What if something goes wrong in transit?"
We recommend insuring your outbound shipment for the replacement value of the part — our packing instructions are designed to protect the unit in transit. We photograph every distributor on arrival and before return dispatch. Return shipments are fully insured by us. In the event of transit damage, we assist with the insurance claim. We have not had a unit lost in return transit.
